Along with the design workshop and public forum, all these would hope to give our people an understanding and a deeper insight into the cultural and natural heritage of Singapore that the railway tracks encompass, something unique and special that such beautiful greenery and wildlife exists hand in hand with modern Singapore urban landscape.<\/p>\n

Getting more publicity and support from the various bodies and members of the public, these would spark the interest to further protect our Singapore heritage, natural beauty and greenery and to reinforce our national identity<\/p>\n

Having visited the exhibition today, I was highly impressed by the various designs and plans for the rail corridor, although they all have very different concepts, ideas and perspectives, they all come together to preserve the heritage and greenery of the rail corridor. The other displays on the wildlife, flora and fauna impressed me a lot too, until we see it with our own eyes, we never realise that Singapore has different species of animals that might not be commonly seen.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the various heritage, landmarks and urban landscapes along the KTM railway tracks are of great interest and attention too, on how the history of the railway tracks were part of the growth of Singapore. Different elements all coming together to showcase the history and heritage, along with the greenery and wildlife of the Rail Corridor. Harnessing the power of social media channels, networks and social media networking, all these would gain back the spark and fire again to bring the Rail Corridor into light again, getting more Singaporeans involved and making it their part to keep it as what they want it to be, for their future generations to come.<\/p>\n
