Run For Hope 2013 will be flagged on 17th November 2013 at 0700hrs, at the Promontory @ Marina Bay! There will be a 3.5km\/10km running distance around the scenic areas of Marina Bay, with the start and finishing point at the Promontory @ Marina Bay.\u00a0Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and Regent Singapore, together with the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) have opened up their registrations for Run For Hope 2013!<\/p>\n
The two Four Seasons hotels are celebrating 21 years of supporting cancer research through their annual charity\u00a0run. To mark this milestone, the organisers\u00a0hope\u00a0to hold their largest event yet. Since the inaugural\u00a0run\u00a0in 1993,\u00a0Run\u00a0For\u00a0Hope\u00a0has become one of Singapore\u2019s largest charity\u00a0runs\u00a0raising awareness and support\u00a0for\u00a0cancer research. This will be the sixth year that NCCS is the beneficiary. The 2012 event saw more than 10,000 runners, raising close to S$450,000. This year, organisers aim to draw 15,000 participants and achieve a target of S$600,000. On event day, participants stand the chance to win some fantastic prizes, including overseas stays at a number of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.<\/p>\n
A non-competitive\u00a0run\u00a0with two distance options,\u00a0Run\u00a0For\u00a0Hope\u00a0continues to draw support across all sectors: the young and the old, individuals, families and groups, clubs and corporate.\u00a0Last year\u2019s inaugural Executive Challenge \u2013 which saw participation from 10 large corporations and their senior management \u2013 will return\u00a0for\u00a02013. Executives are encouraged to take the lead by registering a corporate team of 20 runners or more as part of their CSR efforts.<\/p>\n
