Palo Alto Networks\u00ae (NYSE: PANW), the next-generation security company, and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (Singtel) announced availability of the Singtel Managed Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP), a unique managed security service that harnesses the expertise of Singtel Managed Security Service (MSS) and the technology of Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform, to protect organisations against sophisticated cyber threats.<\/p>\n

This Singtel service aims to keep cyber threats at bay by monitoring, isolating and preventing any suspicious applications from breaching an organisation\u2019s networks or endpoint devices. In addition, the ATP\u2019s advance threat intelligence capability provides organisations with insights on cyber threats, allowing them to take necessary security measures.<\/p>\n

This collaborative effort expands Palo Alto Networks\u2019 existing activities with Singtel\u2019s managed security services business unit, Trustwave, to bring next-generation managed security services to global multi-national businesses and government agencies.<\/p>\n

The Singtel MSS provides organisations with real-time, round-the-clock managed security services through Singtel\u2019s global network of eight Security Operations Centres (SOCs). As the SOCs are integrated with Singtel Global Threat Intelligence, they are constantly updated with information from Trustwave\u2019s sensors and SpiderLabs malware research laboratory as well as Singtel\u2019s extensive network of security intelligence partners. By complementing the Singtel Global Threat Intelligence with Palo Alto Networks AutoFocus\u2122 threat intelligence, Singtel MSS can provide even faster response to cyber attacks.<\/p>\n

The Managed ATP operates on the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform, comprising Next-Generation Firewall, Threat Intelligence Cloud and Advanced Endpoint Protection.
