Singtel announced it has begun offering Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), which adds built-in cellular to the world\u2019s number one watch. With cellular built-in, customers can go with just their Apple Watch and stay connected to the people and information they care about.<\/p>\n

Mr Yuen Kuan Moon, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Singapore, Singtel, said, \u201cWe are pleased to be the first in Singapore to optimise our network to support Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS+ Cellular). Now, our customers can enjoy the unprecedented freedom of going about their activities with just their Apple Watch and staying connected to what matters to them, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year celebrations.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

To help customers get started, Singtel launched its NumberShare service which allows Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) customers to use the same number as their iPhone, as well as share data and talk time of their mobile plan. As an introductory offer, NumberShare is available for S$6.90 per month on a 12-month contract with the first three months free.<\/p>\n

Whether users are out for a run, at the pool or just trying to be more active throughout their day, Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular allows them to stay connected, make calls, and receive texts and more, even without their iPhone nearby. The third-generation Apple Watch is an amazing health and fitness companion with intelligent coaching features, water resistance (50 meters) and a barometric altimeter that measures relative elevation. Apple Watch Series 3 comes in two models, one with GPS and cellular, and one with GPS, both featuring a 70 percent faster dual-core processor and new wireless chip.<\/p>\n

Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) is available at all Singtel Shops and selected Singtel Exclusive Retailers. To activate the cellular function on their watch, customers can sign up for NumberShare via the \u201cWatch\u201d app on their iPhone.<\/p>\n

To activate cellular service with Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), customers first need to update iPhone to iOS 11.2.5, then tap Settings > General > About and follow the prompt to update to the latest carrier settings.<\/p>\n
