In the midst of Macbook crisis, the review of Nokia N97 still continued and in my first part of my Nokia N97 review, I would be sharing on my aesthetics experiences without a SIM card inside and the technical specifications as well.

Before proceeding, let me highlight some of the key specifications

Dimensions

Keys and Inputs Method

The Nokia N97 felt just nice (for me) in my hands, the full sliding out keyboard feature, with its keyboard, was quite cool, thickness wasn’t an issue for me. The touch screen features was sensitive and responsive with my thumbs instead of the stylus provided. The screen rotates easily upon the movement of the mobile phone from “landscape” mode to “portrait mode”. The sliding mechanism I feel is well built and durable, key features on the mobile phone were easy and not a lot of difficulty to get the hang of it and getting used to it in a short time.

For the software and applications on the Nokia N97, it was quite good and well packed programs inside the phone, making it a fun and serious (business/work) phone concurrently.

Applications

Personal Information Management

Without putting my SIM card inside, I had a good experience with the Nokia N97 and would be testing it out on the move with the Music features and internet browsing. Do stay tuned for Part Two !
