Having blogged since April 2006, I seldom go for gatherings\/outings or those photography outing shoot in the local forums or blogsphere. However, as time goes by and my photoblog grew to its own domain name and own hosting, along with a personal blog too, I was getting more connected with bloggers \/ photographers not only from Singapore but from different parts of the world too.<\/p>\n

The usage and learning of social media networking via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Blogging and of course photography, got me more connected and made new friends from the blogsphere and opportunities from different public relations agencies to do reviews and publicity campaigns for their electronic gadgets. My first social media gathering would be my LG Life-is-Viewtyful and I knew some great fellow photobloggers too !<\/p>\n

Snap Snap November Group Photo at Singapore Quarry<\/em><\/p>\n

Today, in a joint effort between 24seven<\/a>, a social media agency, I went for my 2nd social media gathering with different bloggers, an event known as Snap Snap November Outing<\/a>, my first time leading a photography walkabout at Dairy Farm Nature Park, Singapore Quarry and Clementi Railway, some places in Singapore that is off track and not as well known to the locals and tourists. Today, this Snap Snap November Outing is a good example of how social media connects bloggers not knowing each other in the blogsphere together with the aid of social media tools and networks for a fun, enjoyable and photography event.<\/span> <\/em><\/strong>Through social media networks\/tools such as blogging, twitter, facebook and word of mouth, an event was broadcasted out to a wider circle of people.<\/p>\n
