Acer Swift Go laptops redefines beauty, brains and brawn

Acer recently launched the Acer Swift Go laptops, a new addition to the award-winning Swift family of notebooks that redefines beauty, brains and brawn, designed for today’s mobile professionals, creators, and students. The Acer Swift Go replaces the Acer Swift 3 and redefines the ultraportable category with modern refinements in design and technological breakthroughs.

New Acer Swift Go: A true high-performance, thin, and light laptop

The Acer Swift Go chassis measures only 14.9mm, they are going slimmer than the previous generation Swift 3. And yet, it is delivering top-of-the-line laptop performance on the go, thanks to the combination of a 13th generation Intel® Core™ i5-13500H or Intel® Core™ i7-13700H processor.

The new 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors with the Intel® Movidius™ VPU have a dedicated AI engine that allows for premium video collaboration, un-compromised AI, and seamless integration. The notebooks also come with Intel® Unison™ to let users easily connect their PCs with Android or iOS devices for a universal, easy-to-use experience. The new solution puts the PC at the center of all activities and provides the freedom to work across operating systems for effortless file transfers, calling, messaging, and managing notifications, all on one screen.

Improved thermal performance for enhanced reliability 

Acer designed a new TwinAir dual fan system that boasts 60.7% better thermal performance than a single fan, boosting performance and reliability. This innovative design features D6 copper heat pipes and an air inlet keyboard, which expels up to 10% more heat than a standard keyboard and keeps its surface cool to the touch. TwinAir is also able to support multiple cooling modes for better thermal efficiency.

Even with the addition of a high-performance cooling system, the Acer Swift Go 14 weighs a mere 1.32kg while the Acer Swift Go 16 weighs at only 1.6kg. Outstanding visual quality is now standard with OLED displays

Another new addition to the Swift Go is the OLED display. The Crystal Clear 14” and 16” OLED panels offer vivid colour accuracy, remarkably deep blacks, outstanding contrast, and ultra-crisp image quality. The 14” OLED panel features a 2.8K, 2880×1800 resolution panel with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the 16” OLED panel boasts a higher resolution 3.2K panel of 3200 x 2000 pixels and a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Both panels offer a cinema-grade, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut with 400 nits brightness (500 nits peak) and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. They are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified for outstanding dynamic range and black levels performance, and comply with the TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe® Display Standard for low blue light emissions.

Framed by a thin bezel for an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio, Acer Swift Go’s new OLED display makes for a visually stunning laptop for work and play.
