There were so many things going on my mind that I decided to pen them down here, for a reminder of my things to be done, things to do and directions to seek constant breakthroughs and improvements to the next level.
Recently, I was quite overwhelmed with business and work. It’s not easy for people to understand what I am going through, some never will. Using an entrepreneur model and framework, the route is marathons after marathons, never ending marathons, however the fruits of success are a lot sweeter and definitely with more pride and joy.
Business – Very difficult economic and financial markets to be inside, it’s a litmus test of your capabilities, maturity, emotional handling, client relationship management and ability to get new business in this time of turbulence and downward slide.
Hobbies – Photography is a great way of enjoying one of my many hobbies, sometimes it can be lonely but it gives me a lot of time alone to capture beautiful photographs, that I shared on my photoblog and flickr site, with a fair share of followers and fans worldwide !
Travel – In the journey of blogging, knew bloggers worldwide, especially in travel and photography, being influenced by iWalk, U2? and Travelfolio, my travel lists just keep on getting longer. Alright, this is a promise to write down my ever increasing list of destinations and plan out for the future –

Marathons, Fitness Training – Planning to embark on Triathlon in 2009, need to get myself up to shape, mentally and physically. Besides that, must breakthrough in faster timing for my marathons by 1 hour from sub 6 hours to sub 5 hours.
Personal Development – Would continue to write up on the various personal development books that I am reading, sharing with my readers and applying it in my life and business. The day we stop learning is the day we start to destroy ourselves. Using marathon training, running and gym training along with personal development books and their guidance are a great and awesome combination that you can utilise !
Shopping for Toys – Hmm …… Always have something to buy ……. Goes like this
(1) Canon EOS 1D Mk 2 – 2nd Hand
(2) A Bicycle – either mountain bike or racing bike for triathlon.
(3) Portable Hard Disk – Need to buy soon, my photos collection increasing by leaps.
Blogging – There were 4 people approaching me to help them in their blogging, asking for advice and comments to improve, due to my heavy workload, I couldn’t commit. It’s a small step towards the level whereby I am able to teach, share and mentor people (bloggers) in the journey I went through and the skills I picked up. Not many followers in this category yet, nevertheless, it’s the 1st step moving towards that level. Have to mention Jack Lan who helped and mentored me in blogging via Money From Blog and Internet Marketing.
Pay-It-Foward – One must never forget its roots and I would always be supporting my alumni, the Gan Eng Seng Dragon Scout Group, in one way or another. A mentor that I would be always.
A long summary list, interesting for some readers, boring for some. There is always a valuable lesson here, COMMUNICATION. Whatever I written down here is clear and concise (mostly), with some degree of errors for timeline planning purposes, yet people around you would or may not appreciate it, or they do not SEEK FIRST TO UNDERSTAND, THEN TO BE UNDERSTOOD, it happened to me too and I knew this is something that I have to learn and change and I am doing it now.
Oh, it’s clearer now why I am a bit overwhelmed recently. There were quite a lot more business operations, opportunities and entrepreneurship matters actually 😉
