In 4 days time, it would be Christmas Day, a day of celebrations and fun, amidst this period of world economic turmoil and slowdown, some are still carrying on with their Christmas celebrations, with their family, friends and colleagues.
Till date, I had attended 2 Christmas Dinner gatherings, it was very nice of them to take the time and effort to organise a wonderful feast and get together, there would be 2-3 more in this coming week. Thanks for the fun, food and drinks !
Last week, I caught a movie on the local television, a British movie, how different people from many different walks of life, wanted for their Christmas, it ranged from family, new love, friendship, relationship, unity and lastly finding love. It struck a chord in me ………….
While we were always searching for that something exclusive or elusive, had we forgotten to count and appreciate our blessings, the friendship and love around us, instead of those monetary chases and greediness ? How about those people who were less fortunate than us ?
As much as there is reflection, there is also the time to appreciate everything that is around you currently, the blessings, the thanksgiving……
Therefore, All I Want For Christmas is ………… to Appreciate, Bless and Love
I talked about the people living in the Sichuan earthquake Disaster Area with my mother last night. My friends just sent some bedquilts and gloves to there. Many people still in bad condition.
We hope they can get the thick bedquilts this time.
