The inaugural Formula One Night Race was over a few hours ago. Even though I did not manage to get the tickets to the final day, it was awesome to watch it from the comfort of my home, feeling the electrifying atmosphere around the Marina Bay Circuit. After Saturday qualifying session, I was looking foward to a Ferrari 1 – 2 , well …… it didn’t turn out the ending that I would love to see …..
Nevertheless, great kudos and respect to all the F1 drivers, cars and teams that graced the inaugural night race in the history of Formula One. Looking at the fans and supporters, especially the Bay Grandstand that holds 30,000 people, it was an awesome sight, has to be one of the biggest grandstands in the Formula One circuits in the world currently.
Moving foward, I believe we can improve on a job well done! Great race, great carnival, simply awesome…. I went there on Friday for the practice and it was really fun to be part of the inaugural night race. The beauty of the lights brightening up the Singapore skyline speaks beyond any words here…… Look down from a bird’s eye view ….. Magnificent !
After my maiden session into a LIVE Formula One event, it became kind of addictive …… probably only the car fanatics would understand and share the same feelings …… Would love to visit other Formula One circuits next time , maybe Sepang and Shanghai.

So you watched the first two nights of F1 race? I caught a glimpse of the race “live” when I was in Malaysia during that week! Watched part of the repeat telecast when I was back. It was the first time I sat in front of the TV for an hour watching F1 cos the backdrop was Singapore skyline! =D
Yeah ! I watched it LIVE in action on Friday night only !
It was an awesome experience, very different from watching at home, I would go again next year !
