This race had been in the cards for some time. Finally, the whole F1 carnival is coming to the Marina Bay night skyline of Singapore. For car fanatics and especially Formula One fanatics, it was something we were all looking foward to ! This Singapore F1 GP is something very special and unique….. It’s a NIGHT RACE…. with a spectacular night skyline background scene of the Marina Bay and Central Business District, it’s an anti-clockwise direction track and it has a very exciting race route with many turns and potentially 3 turns for overtaking.
I was walking over from the Suntec City, saw the safety car giving the race route a test run, and other BMWs and other support vehicles, utility vehicles on the track as well. Walking over to Marina Square, walking across the Esplanade and across the Esplanade Bridge, I kept getting more excited, I had a feel of how the track and race would be like on practice day, qualifying and race day. Reaching the One Fullerton, and walking towards the Victoria Concert Hall, I personally feel this part of the racing route would be very exciting to watch and for photographers to capture.
Looking foward to enjoy myself at the Formula One Carnival, the First Night Race in the history of Formula One ……. in our country Singapore !!!!
