Imagine sitting in your favourite sports convertible. Engine humming, warm breeze in your hair, your foot ready to slam the pedal. You want to go full throttle – but you are stuck in a traffic jam.

Picture that same car with your own dedicated express lane on the highway: the road clears, the wind rushes past and suddenly you’re flying.

That’s the iPhone 17 paired with Singtel 5G+ Priority mobile lines – a sleek supercar phone, zero traffic, zero limits. The best thing? You can now get the iPhone 17 lineup for $0. It’s not fantasy, it’s the real advantage of choosing Singtel 5G+ Priority mobile plans.

The Singtel 5G+ Priority Advantage

Singtel’s 5G+ Priority plans are its new premium plans that come with cool differentiators like 4X faster speeds, a dedicated express lane on the cellular network through cutting-edge “network slicing” technology and a real-time, always-on security solution called Mobile Protect.

Network slicing works by carving out dedicated lanes within the cellular network that lets Priority users enjoy priority connections instead of sharing the entire highway with all other traffic.

Mobile Protect, an advanced scam fighting service that automatically scans the Singtel cellular network to weed out malware, ransomware, scams and other online threats. It blocks access to malicious sites before you click and can even stop the downloads of infected files.

Just as a Formula 1 driver has a dedicated pit crew always on standby, you get priority support online and offline — faster troubleshooting, quicker service, and no waiting in the queue.

In addition, these premium plans come with upsized local data and monthly data roaming of up to 50GB in Malaysia.

The Secret to $0 iPhone 17

Since launching in May this year (2025) Singtel has been hard at work marketing its 5G+ Priority plans. With the iPhone 17 launch, the telco is pulling out all stops to woo customers.

You can pay full price for the new iPhone 17 lineup and iPhone Air at retail, or you can sign up for mobile plans with your favourite telcos for a discount on the handset. Signing a two-year contract with any of the three Singtel 5G+ Priority Plans offers significant discounts on the iPhone17.

This table shows the exact discounts given out. On average, Priority Family subscribers get $2,016 off their iPhone 17 handset, Priority Pro users get $1,720 while Priority L users gain an average $1,334 discount. The biggest handset discounts go to the iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB purchases.

Users who choose the iPhone 17 Pro 256GB model ($1,749) and subscribe to the Priority Pro line can get the handset at $0 immediately. No tricks, no hidden costs.

Can’t wait to get your hands on the thinnest (5.6mm) and lightest (165g) iPhone ever – the iPhone Air – with a large 6.5-inch display and a powerful new A19 Pro chip? For Priority L customers getting the iPhone Air 256GB model ($1,599) it costs just $300. And if you are signing up for a new line or porting over from another telco, you get another $300 off. Yes, that means you get the iPhone Air 256GB model for $0.

Existing Singtel customers who are recontracting to a 5G+ Priority upgrade also get Loyalty vouchers, ranging from $250 to $500. There are also some of the best handset trade-in deals in the industry, with a three-year-old iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB model going for up as much as $610.

All these discounts mean there are many pathways to get your $0 iPhone 17 fix!

What about no-contract SIM-only plans?

No-contract plans typically don’t get the handset discounts or the new sign-up bonuses like the two-year contact plans. But Singtel is offering cashbacks of up to $720 for users who sign up for Singtel 5G+ Priority SIM-only plans with its Singtel PayLater service that lets users spread out the payment for the handset over 12, 24 or 36 months.

Users who go for the Priority Plus SIM-Only plan get $10 cashback per month while Priority Ultra SIM-Only users get $20 per month. The longer the instalment period, the higher the cashback on the purchase of the new iPhone 17 lineup.

For example, a user who signs up for a Priority Plus plan with 36-month Singtel PayLater instalment plan and chooses the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB ($1,899) gets an immediate $360 cashback. That works out to monthly handset instalments of $42.75 per month (instead of $52.75 per month.

Trade-ins still apply, which can bring the handset price down even more.

Note that these SIM-Only Priority plans get the same benefits as the regular ones, so the 4X speeds, dedicated lanes, Mobile Protect and upsized local and Malaysia roaming data all applies as well.

Smarter, Stronger, Slimmer – the iPhone 17 lineup and iPhone Air

The new iPhone 17 lineup marks a big upgrade in many ways.

The base iPhone 17 offers the faster 120Hz (up from 60Hz) ProMotion display for smoother scrolling, animations and improved responsiveness. The new A19 chip offers gains in power efficiency while the new front display makes use of a more scratch-resistant Ceramic Shield 2.

Pro and Pro Max models come with a more powerful A19 Pro chip, triple 48MP rear cameras (vs dual 48MP on the based model). The telephoto lens on these models come with a larger sensor and up to 8X optical-quality zoom. If you are into photography, these are significant improvements over the last generation.

The model that stands out however is the iPhone Air. Though it may be weaker in some specs compared to its siblings (it only has one rear camera) it shines through with its sleek, 5.6mm thin titanium frame. It also enjoys many of the new features of the base model, including the 120Hz display, bright 3,000 nits display and the A19 Pro chip.

The elegance of the new iPhone 17 lineup and iPhone Air is like fine wine. It pairs best with the perfect glass – in this case, the Singtel 5G+ Priority plans.
