A week’s break from 7th to 14th April 2023, getting away from social media, from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, replying only to messages via communication apps.This was a longer than usual time away from social media, this was a time when I decided to set aside the time helping out at an extended family matter.

There are times whereby family, bonds and ties come first, not social media, and also putting aside business/work matters for that period of time when I wanted to help out in person, providing support in whatever ways possible. This was also a time for the extended family to step forward and come together, helping out and giving support in whatever ways possible too, during this difficult period.

I had the Canon EOS R50 mirrorless camera with me for review during that period, a small and compact, easy to use APS-C mirrorless camera allowing me to capture moments and memories of my extended family that would be reserved for the extended family. It’s going to be private and would most likely not be released on social media platforms.

Backlogs have piled up again, business/work matters to follow up, and also some discussions to follow up. Some would know the reason behind some of the delays, thank you to those who reached out to me privately.

Meanwhile, there would be quite a bit of catching up, clearing backlogs, prioritising a few matters/backlogs to get it done first. Although a week’s break from social media was due to an extended family matter, I don’t mind taking regular social media breaks once a while, just how many days would I take?
