Canon EOS 5D Mark III, a DSLR camera that many of us have been waiting for, the upgrade to the highly successful model, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, announced on 2nd March 2012 by Canon Singapore, in an international worldwide official media release event. I was there to have a first hand of the official launch of the Canon EOS 5D Mark III and it was very impressive for its specifications and modern technology.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark III redefines the DSLR in photography and film making, suitable for both advanced amateur and professional photographers, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III features Canon’s latest and most powerful image processor, the DIGIC 5+ processor which is 17 times faster than DIGIC 4. Equipped with a full-frame 22.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, high native ISO sensitivity of up to 25,600 (expandable up to ISO 102,400), and a continuous drive of up to 6 frames per second, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III is definitely going to become a great DSLR camera for many out there!

With the same 61-point High-Density Reticular AF System found in Canon’s flagship EOS-1D X, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III would be very easy and very fast for photographers to focus on their subjects in portrait photography. An additional capability of the Canon EOS 5D Mark III is their In-Camera creativity, photographers can push their creative limit with the new High Dynamic Range (HDR) Mode, combining three images shot at different exposures to form one single detailed image.
