Review of Nokia N97 - Part Two - TGH Technology and Business Portal/Blog

Folks,

If you all recall from my 1st post, Review of Nokia N97 Review – Part One, I went on further to test out the Nokia N97 mobile phone with my SIM card inserted, testing its browser, GPS and Nokia CWM (Comes With Music) services, before returning the Nokia N97 back to Mediacom Interaction. Overall, it was a good experience and I am very grateful to Nokia and Mediacom Interaction for this opportunity.

Upon inserting my 3G SIM card into the Nokia N97, I tested their web browser and my experience using it was quite good, speed was alright. Being a fan of GPS function, it was my next test of the Nokia N97 and the GPS on the Nokia N97 was very useful and simple, the map was clear and quite accurate. Having a GPS would be useful even in our daily life, sometimes we need just to know where and which directions to go.

Nokia has a great service inside their mobile phones, known as the CWM or Comes With Music. This service allows their Nokia users to access their music site containing 1 million songs for downloading and it is unlimited !  Logging into the CWM service on the Nokia N97, I was able to access and test out their site, indeed, they do have lots and lots of songs for downloading. Navigation on the CWM site was quite alright, screen was a bit small for me and using my thumb & fingers on the touchscreen wasn’t too good, perhaps using their stylus is easier.

How would the Nokia N97 comes into our daily life ? The mobile phone and smartphone “wars” allows companies to design and produce good smartphones for consumers. The Nokia N97 would be suitable for business users to incorporate with their leisure lifestyle, having a good balance of both sides of the lifestyle, with their functions and services build inside the Nokia N97. Along with the Comes With Music function, this would be very attractive for music lovers !
