It’s now August 2025, this is also Singapore’s birthday month as she will be celebrating her 60th birthday (SG60) on the 9th August 2025. For my Technology / Business / Personal Themes and Plans for August 2025, there would be follow ups and updates from my July 2025 article. On top of my themes and plans for this month August 2025, I would also be working more on my SG60 themes for the first two weeks of August 2025.
Technology
Continuing from my consumer and enterprise/business technology segments that I mentioned in July 2025, I am getting back to speed, to the best of my ability and constraints, publishing and sharing technology news coverage. My coverage, research, learning, and areas of work on artificial intelligence (AI) technology is still ongoing, albeit a bit slow though. There are still technology articles wiring/coverage/reviews that are backlogged, I would doing my best to clear them.
Business
One of my business partnerships discussions is ongoing with this new all-rounder marketing agency business setup. When the time comes, I would share more. As for my other potential areas of discussions, I hope that we can have some breakthrough in discussions and planning.
As for the economy, it’s still a slow, difficult and challenging situation for the past quarter. How would the economy turn out in Q3 and Q4 of 2025? Some small business owners are even more cautious and fearful, worrying that bigger economy fallout might be in 2026. While we can’t really predict the future, we need to be even more lean, nimble and adaptable.
Personal
There are still family matters that I need to continue and follow up, ensuring that the family matters are eventually settled and sorted out in August 2025. Such family situations can be pretty stressful and pressurising, even though it’s part of everyone’s life journey.
And again, a gentle reminder to my followers/readers that I am very private in what I share on social media, and I also not narcissistic, not showing off too much on social media (which may not be ideal for business in this social media era). With so much time spent on social media platforms, it can be draining and unhealthy on our mental and emotional health.
Beyond earning revenue, I just want to enjoy my craft in visual storytelling, writing and the great outdoors, without all those social media and narcissism.
SG60 Celebrations
Although I have started my year long personal visual storytelling project on SG60 theme for Year 2025, the first two weeks of August 2025 leading up to 9th August 2025 is going to be intensive with emphasis on SG60 celebrations and related themes, on my photography/visual storytelling and travel on my TGH Photography and Travel website.
Therefore, I would be working/concentrating more on my SG60 visual storytelling side of things , and a personal thoughts and reflections article on SG60, before returning back to my technology and business articles coverage.
