Huawei launched Ultralight HUAWEI MateBook D 14

Huawei recently launched Ultralight HUAWEI MateBook D 14, the latest addition to its ultra-portable laptop line-up in Singapore. This laptop is designed for young consumers, the new 14-inch Huawei laptop introduces a revolutionary cross-platform experience that allows users to seamlessly work with multiple devices through a single pane of glass.

Sleek entry-level laptop with new angles to explore

The HUAWEI MateBook D 14 is a light, sleek and stylish design laptop, weighing only 1.38kg with a thickness of 15.9mm. This streamlined laptop lets users enjoy a maximum viewing angle of 178 degrees for the best view for every task, whether it is reading documents or watching movies for leisure.

The HUAWEI MateBook D 14 is also fitted with a 1920 x 1080 IPS screen and thin 4.8mm bezels to achieve a 84% screen-to-body ratio, this would allow users to fully immerse into its almost endless 14-inch FullView Display. The screen also contains TUV Rheinland Low Bluelight Certification effectively filters blue light emissions, for all-day eye comfort.

Packed with up to a 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-10210U processor that runs at up to 4.2GHz, the latest MateBook D 14 Intel edition can handle everything from image and video editing to games with ease.

As for its GPU, this laptop is equipped with a NVIDIA® GeForce® MX250 graphics card that includes 2GB of high-speed GDDR5 VRAM. Compared to integrated graphics, the new NVIDIA GPU can handle image and video editing tasks at 3.5 times the speed.

The HUAWEI MateBook D 14 excels at cooling and battery life. For cooling, the laptop includes a new version of the HUAWEI Shark Fin Fan. With the new s-shaped fan blades, HUAWEI Shark Fin Fan 2.0 optimises air flow dynamically for improved cooling and laptop performance. In terms of battery life, a 56Wh (Rating value) high capacity battery supports up to 13.2 hours of continuous local 1080p video playback on a single charge. This battery lets users freely use their laptop on the go without having to worry about its battery.

The HUAWEI MateBook D 14 comes with a portable multi-purpose 65W USB-C charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable is also included with this laptop. The charger supports all Huawei smartphones and tablets are that are equipped with a USB-C port. It also features overheat protection, that automatically stops the charging process once the temperature crosses a threshold to ensure safety.
