VIewQwest, award-winning Telecommunications and Managed Services Provider (MSSP), recently launches Singapore’s most flexible 10Gbps service, a new 10-Gigabit Symmetric Passive Optical Network (XGS PON), designed for tech-savvy customers who value the flexibility of choice in their high-performance internet setups.

ViewQwest X – ViewQwest’s new XGS PON service, offers 3Gbps, 5Gbps, and 10Gbps plans. This allows advanced users to integrate their preferred network devices, ensuring the best performance tailored to the tech-savvy customers unique needs.

ViewQwest XGS PON

The shift to XGS PON is in line with Singapore’s ongoing efforts to upgrade household internet capabilities to support the continued rise of content streaming and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive experiences like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in the future.

Why is Singapore moving to a new network? This will expand the existing bottleneck of home broadband services, it’s like going from a 2-way street to a 10-lane highway, reducing data congestion during peak periods resulting in higher speeds.

ViewQwest high download and upload speeds

ViewQwest’s high download and upload speeds will meet the data and latency demands of real-time interactive AR/VR experiences, the sharing of large files for collaboration for AI projects, and the rapid synchronisation of cloud backups. The improved network capabilities of households will also strengthen Singapore’s position as the fastest fixed-network nation in the world.

ViewQwest team up with eero (An Amazon company)

ViewQwest team up with eero (an Amazon company), for the first time in Singapore, eero Max 7 (Wi-Fi 7) and eero Pro 6E (Wi-Fi 6E) from Amazon will be made available as bundled plans on launch enabling fast, reliable, and secure Wi-Fi throughout any home or small business, which can be set up and managed via the eero app.

Additionally, the Wi-Fi 7 unlocks the use of 320MHz channels that will let ViewQwest households access twice the speed of Wi-Fi 6, taking full advantage of the increased broadband speeds (with a capable networking device).

All-in-one networking Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE

For the tech-savvy customers, ViewQwest will also have the all-in-one networking Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE, this high performance device will definitely provide tech geeks/enthusiasts granular network control and the fastest end-to-end speeds to satisfy the most demanding users.

10Gbps SFP+ module

Another tech device for the tech-savvy customers, another first for ViewQwest customers, is the option for a 10Gbps capable SFP+ module that replaces the traditional ONU to allow power users the freedom to design their home network.

Vignesa Moorthy, CEO of ViewQwest, said, “Our new XGS PON network sets a new standard for internet connectivity in Singapore, offering unparalleled speeds and freedom for our users to create the home network of their dreams with end-to-end high-speed connectivity. We are committed to keeping Singapore ahead in global connectivity rankings.”

“At eero, we’re focused on constantly innovating and delivering increased coverage, faster speeds, and secure connectivity to customers around the world,” said Nick Weaver, CEO and Co-Founder of eero. “We’re thrilled to work with ViewQwest to offer eero Pro 6E to customers who have over a hundred connected devices and use their internet for bandwidth-demanding activities, and eero Max 7 to power users who move large amounts of data over the internet and want the best performing devices from eero.”

The new plans continue to reflect ViewQwest’s longstanding network principles. Customers will enjoy latency-based routing for fast response and maximum available bandwidth with no international bandwidth cap, traffic shaping, or speed throttling, even with P2P file sharing. Most importantly, subscribers also benefit from SecureNet Home, which has built-in network security powered by AI and ML.
