Helping people, helping friends, helping fellow entrepreneurs. Is this something that we are all doing to help one another or are we getting more selfish and not helping one another? In life, in business, we all need help somewhere somehow in one way or another. Sometimes, we go all the way to help friends/people without expecting anything in return and there were times when we were hurt by disappointments and not being appreciated by the friends/people whom we helped.
While there were times when I was disappointed in helping people by going all out to help them when I set upon myself to do so, somehow or another, I continued to help people. It allowed me to learn from my life experiences and see with my own eyes who I can help them and also helping myself. There were friends, through photography teaching, learning, exchanging tips and networks. There were fellow entrepreneurs, starting their own businesses and friends taking the first step into a new work, career or business. With my current knowledge, expertise and work experiences, I am glad that I am able to help them and by helping them in their journey, I also learned from them on their challenges, struggles and gain invaluable knowledge and experiences in their respective business field.
In the very near future, I will start to share more about fellow entrepreneurs and friends, on what they have been doing or planning to do,through my own personal art of photojournalism and sharing. By helping them, they will also help me back at the same time and also in the future. While helping people/organisations/entrepreneurs does not have monetary value in return at times (and many times), the appreciation and reciprocity in kind and help are priceless too. By going all the way for friends/entrepreneurs/organisations, some of them will do the same for you too.
Quote by Brian Tracy ~ Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, “What’s in it for me?”
By helping others, we are also helping ourselves, that’s so much to learn from each other to improve our own strengths and flaws. A Win-Win relationship is the way to go for the challenging economy and society whether in work, business or daily life. To all my friends, fellow entrepreneurs and organisations that helped me through out the years, whether in work, business, photography, personal projects, social media engagements, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let’s work more closely together in the future ahead!
