OPPO launched flagship model R11 smartphone

OPPO, a leading global camera phone brand, recently launched the OPPO R11, its flagship model smartphone. The OPPO R11 smartphone is packed with the world’s first 20MP front and 20MP + 16MP rear dual cameras and that is something that caught my attention.

At the recent OPPO R11 launch event, I had a short time to hold, feel and touch the latest OPPO flagship smartphone. My initial impression was on that weight of the R11, it was very lightweight and easy to carry. The OPPO R11 ergonomic design and slim feature got my attention too! The screen resolution is FHD, the quality and colours are sharp and good.

Being a photographer and avid mobile phone photography person, the smartphone camera always get my most attention and time (of the limited time at the event to test the smartphone) during any smartphone launch event. During the launch event, I took snapshots of the surroundings and landscapes using the OPPO R11, viewed it from the smartphone, I looked at them and think to myself, it’s pretty good.

At the OPPO R11 launch event, there were portraits shot with the OPPO R11, printed and mounted on frames for us to view the quality of portraits shot with the OPPO R11. The photos looked impressive, coming from a smartphone camera. I hope to share more on this if there is an opportunity to review the OPPO R11 smartphone in the future.

With comprehensive hardware and software upgrades, the OPPO R11 brings a brand-new user experience for portrait shooting.

Together with its IMX398 sensor and an f/1.7 big aperture, the R11 boasts a faster focus speed than the earlier R9s model, with more vivid colours and also better photographing capabilities in low light.

With new software enhancements, the R11’s rear dual camera provides a more natural bokeh effect. The R11 intelligently adjusts exposure levels between the portrait subjects and the background by automatically identifying more than 100 daily scene settings, which allows users to shoot clear and bright portraits in very different environments. It all can be realized by simply activating the “Portrait” function on the camera, without any complicated manual settings.

For those who love taking selfies:

R11 can now provide refreshing photos with nude makeup effects, thanks to the foreground bokeh effect, the automatic HDR function, and intelligent skin tone beautification technology. Every portrait, either shot by the front camera or the rear camera, is now stunningly beautiful.
