This article was supposed to be writen and published on 1st May, Labour Day 2018 public holiday, however, I was still busy pushing myself and finishing up my Chiang Mai travel articles that this got a bit delayed for a few days.
A number of thoughts and things going through my mind in the recent month, this might be a good intermission break from the technology articles that I had been sharing prior to this article. Somehow, this intermission also became a good break away for me, I just didn’t manage to do any writing for a few days, whether writing personal thoughts, ideas, technology news, travel and photography topics articles.
Difficulties, challenges, opportunities
Running a sole proprietor business is beyond the amount of difficulties, challenges, tough market conditions, unrelentless, nasty people around you. That’s no magic formula nor a ten year series exam papers with model answers for you to learn from. Some people even think that a sole proprietor business is a freelancer.
This very harsh journey gives you the reins to take the leap of faith and do something that probably 90% of the population don’t dare to do. That’s no guarantee of success though.
Beyond traditional / conventional thinking and doing more than one type of business/job are some of the key directions as I am trekking this treacherous yet somehow very fulfilliing (“I don’t know how far is the distance”) journey.
Disappointments and Criticism
A few times, I put in planning, our brain juice, effort and hard work, for things/assignments/projects that it would grow and pave a new route out for me. There were times, whereby it became free labour instead, a huge disappointment and it’s back to the drawing board, reflecting and to protect myself against such situations from happening.
Criticism hurts especially when I put in the effort yet the other party said you didn’t put any heart into doing it when first and foremost, it came from me just wanting to help out. Nevertheless, I have to look into my works, do my self-reflection, take the good points, block out the bad points, now to pursue Habit 7 “Sharpen the Saw”.
Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
These two topics had been on my mind and brain for the past few months, cryptocurrency is like a wild wild west to me at this moment in time, I personally think that it can grow and set the standards for the future, in terms of how we use our transaction and payment system. None of us have a magic crystal ball to look ahead into the future what these two can transform into for the society.
Yes, I am going into cryptocurrency trading/investing, hopefully soon. Moreover, I hope to do more research and share more articles, topics and thoughts on those two topics here on my personal website/blog.
Beyond traditional / conventional thinking
Another topic that has been bugging me, with the amount of disruptions and changes taking place, from technology improvements and disruptions, social media expansion, changes in the work environment and working style, has the human race evolved quickly enough to realise that they have to go beyond their traditional / conventional thinking in their life and career?

I Dreamed a Dream
I dreamed a dream, maybe many dreams. Maybe someday, some dreams would come true, such as publishing my own zine, holding my first photography exhibition, publishing my own travel adventure stories book, maybe a few more.
Yes, of course, I am actually working on them, not just dreaming.
