The UE MEGABOOM that I wrote and shared recently here not too long ago, I had the opportunity to test it out and review this portable speaker for two weeks. When I received the UE MEGABOOM box package, it was nicely designed, well thought out and looks cool! I put the UE MEGABOOM to the test, playing youtube videos and short movie clips from my MacBook Pro.

Here are my thoughts and views from my short stint with the UE MEGABOOM
Pros
- The UE MEGABOOM as the name suggests, really gives it a Mega Boom with its bass and sound for its size and form!
- Surround sound effect
- Pair it with another UE MEGABOOM and this will give you a nice 2 way speaker surround sound system for you to play music or watch a movie
- Ideal for use at your home parties or outdoor picnics/parties/events
- Dedicated smartphone app to connect/pair up/control a (single/duo) UE MEGABOOM
- Bright, colourful and vibrant
- Sturdy and well built
Cons
- If you are planning to carry it out in your bag, it might not be that portable and lightweight
