LG’s gram 2021 laptops announced at CES 2021

LG Electronics (LG) recently announced their new lineup of new LG gram laptops at the first all virtual CES 2021. The new LG gram laptops are ultra-light, ultra-portable, boasting exceptional performance and long battery life, a continuation of the brand’s legacy of going anywhere computing convenience. With stylish new designs and productivity boosting 16:10 aspect ratio screens adding even more value to the company’s versatile solutions.

There are five new exciting and diverse models in the LG gram 2021 laptops lineup:

• LG gram 17 (model 17Z90P)
• LG gram 16 (model 16Z90P)
• LG gram 14 (model 14Z90P)
• LG gram 2-in-1 16 (model 16T90P)
• LG gram 2-in-1 14 (model 14T90P)

The five new LG gram 2021 laptops all come with 16:10 aspect ratio screens designed among maximising work efficiency. Their new LG gram 2021 laptops offer more screen real estate than the 16:9 displays found on most laptops, allowing more information to be showed at any one time. They also come with enlarged keyboard and touchpad for faster, easier typing without compromising the portability of those compact laptops.

The new displays are high-resolution, covering 99% (typical) of DCI-P3 colour space. They are perfect for entertainment as well as for work with its vibrant, accurate colours, excellent contrast and sharp details. With its four-sided super-slim bezel design, it helps in viewer immersion and contributes to the premium products’ sleeker and more sophisticated look.

LG gram laptops are Intel® EvoTM Platform verified, powered by an 11th Gen Intel® CoreTM processor with Iris® Xe Graphics and speedy LPDDR4x memory. LG gram models 17Z90P, 16Z90P and 16T90P feature 80Wh high-density batteries to ensure longer periods of use between charges, freeing users from the need to carry a power adapter with them at all times.

The LG gram laptops provide a big-screen experience without sacrificing portability. For the flagship LG gram 17, it boasts a large 17-inch screen while weighing only 1.35kg. The new LG gram 16 and 15 weighs at just 1.19kg and 999g respectively and they are just a scant 1.68cm thick. Thanks to LG’s ultra-narrow bezels and a hidden hinge design, all three models achieve an impressive screen-to-body ratio (STBR) of 90 percent.

New LG gram 2-in-1 laptops

The new LG gram 2-in-1 laptops come in two versions, 16-inch and 14-inch 2-in-1 laptops, delivering incredible freedom thanks to LG’s unique 360-degree hinge and their exceptional lightness. The LG gram 2- in-1 comes with a stylus pen compatible with Wacom AES 2.0 for enhanced navigation and control for a smooth, precise writing and drawing experience.

The new LG gram 2-in-1 laptops definitely caught my attention especially the 16-inch 2-in-1 weighing at 1480g. Having covered the LG gram laptops growth and changes over the years and previously reviewed the LG gram 17, I would be most interested in their new 2-in-1 laptops, especially the LG gram 16 2-in-1 laptop.
