The Singapore River is a historical/iconic area whereby Singapore’s history and fame as an international cross-road/sea faring port started growing hand in hand together. Today, while it has changed a lot since her heydays with the bustling sea trade, warehouse and goods moving activities, Singapore River stands tall and proud with the tall business buildings of the Central Business District, hospitality and food belts, along with our own heritage buildings too.
Looking forward ahead into the future, Singapore River is looking to rebrand herself and create a unique identity for everybody, both locals and friends from all over the world, to better promote the Singapore River precinct, showcasing its incredible historical and economic significance, and the fun entertainment, eating elements too!
With a big plan ahead, the stakeholders along Singapore River, along with Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, has launched the Singapore River Logo Design Competition, open to schools and public, that can bring more new excitement to our Singapore River and to develop a unique atmosphere along the Singapore River!
Calling all design enthusiasts to come forward for this Singapore River Logo Design, bringing all the 3 quays along the Singapore River – Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay, combining the water that defines the Singapore River, the area’s heritage and history and the diverse mix of fun and entertainment, together into the design competition.
