Reflecting Year 2018

In a few more days, the year 2018 is coming to an end and a brand new year 2019 is going to start. As I start to reflect back on my year 2018, from both personal and business/professional perspectives, this year had been a year of slow growth, learning from my various experiences .

Opportunities, Partnerships and Collaborations – Hits and Misses

Growing and expanding a small business is never easy at all, I am always on the lookout for new opportunities, partnerships and collaborations to move and expand into. There were more misses than hits, disappointing at most times, encouraging with the ones that I worked with, looking forward to expanding my networks and connections through finding more partnerships and collaborations in the year 2019 and beyond.

Of Ups and Downs

Life is never smooth sailing in calm waters with beautiful weather and sunshine. Life is imperfect, sailing through rough and choppy seas with bad weather at times, while there were times whereby it was pretty good and wonderful. Sometimes, the stress and pressure were overwhelming, I have to fight my own battles and manage my own thoughts, thinkings and emotions.

I am 100% imperfect and life is 100% imperfect.

Everybody is a guru and genius, you cannot criticise them

A trend that I have observed on social media networks and internet over the past few years is along the line of “Everybody is a guru and genius, you cannot criticise them”.

Learning and improving

As I mentioned earlier that I am 100% imperfect, I am always trying to learn new skills and knowledge, in my business, in my photography and in life. On a personal and professional basis, that’s still a lot to learn and improve, I strive to keep learning and improving.

Distancing myself away from certain types of people / Creating my own journeys and experiences that makes me happy

Nasty and Evil
People who look down on me / judge me
People who don’t believe in me / trust me

I am very exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally with all the hate, anger, jealousy, judgemental, cynical and those who looked down on other people.

I will and I must distance myself away from this group of people. I just want to be myself, happy and content with what I am striving in my small business and personal life.

Last but not least

Last but not least, year 2018 is a slow growth year, gained more life experiences and life lessons along the way, grew older and gained more white hair.

I would like to say a big Thank You from the bottom of my heart to the people that believed in me and supported me through my ups and downs in the year 2018. Planning for year 2019 and I hope to share more insights soon!
