Time flies really fast, the pace can be fast and furious, relentless and unforgiving. It’s like, in the blink of an eye, the first half of the year 2015 is over and now we are starting the second half of 2015. In the month of June, I was starting to consolidate and reflect (in stages) on the earlier part of 2015, the first and second quarters of 2015.
The 1st half of year 2015 had been a very fruitful, inspiring and encouraging period, along with life’s usual ups and downs roller coaster moves. Add in a bit of spice of emotional and mental battles with people, life for me sometimes is at 2 ends of a spectrum and not often in a balanced/neutral position.
How has the first half of 2015 turn out for you? How has the first half of 2015 turn out for me?
A personal review and reflection of my own report card, I had some really big personal achievements on a personal basis and for my photography.
– Straits Times Newspaper Feature on 20th May 2015
– Producing and launching my first photo book
On my professional/business/work area
– My company is in this year Promising SME 500 2015 (I would write and share more at a later date/article)
There are still a lot more to work on, to improve and strive towards the next levels, in both professional and personal aspects.
Signing Autographs (I felt like a mini-celebrity!)
The stars and elements were aligned in my direction, the signs and omens directing me towards a blessed moment. Upon collecting my personal Hokkaido Black and White Photo Books from Grenadier Press, I wasn’t able to start giving them out due to work commitments.
When my Hokkaido Photo Guide, Mr Tsuyoshi Kato, was coming down to Singapore for a business trip, our group of Hokkaido Photographers Invitation Program 2014 decided to host him for dinner. This was also the time for me to catch up with this special group of friends that went together to Hokkaido! I had something special for each and every one of them, my Hokkaido Photo Book and a personalised A3 Hokkaido Black and White photo print for them!
At the end of the dinner gathering, I autographed each and every one of their photo book. The thoughts, feelings and emotions were amazing and priceless as I wrote on my Facebook Page
This evening on the 29th June 2015, I started to give away my personal #Hokkaido Black and White Landscapes Photo Books…

How would the second half of 2015 turn out for me? How would the second half of 2015 turn out for you?
I am still working and striving to achieve my goals and objectives for year 2015, continuing the efforts and journey.
There are just a bit too much “rubbish” going on in society, quite a fair bit of anger, stress and tensions. Let’s all keep them out and make our society a better place to live in and enjoy!
I will not run away from people who wants to judge me too, for whatever reasons and basis that the judging person may have.
I will only strive to learn new skills, knowledge, learn from my mistakes, learn from life experiences and continue to improve myself all the aspects.
Yes, I need my holidays too.
