Once again, it’s time, to prepare for my upcoming Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009, my Number 6th Full Marathon, my 4th Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. Looking back my previous runs and looking forward to my upcoming Full Marathon, some things never change – preparation for running a Full Marathon.
There were friends who commented I should go for ultra marathon, since I had conquered a full marathon on a few occasions, I acknowledged their comments and thank them for their feedback. What’s my next challenge that I intended to embark on ? At this moment in time, I have not come to any decision yet, it might be an ultra-marathon or a triathlon.
Back to preparation, I chanced upon a site via twitter and found a website on marathon training program, by Marathon Training, they have an extensive and informative page on preparation for marathon running, do drop by their website HERE !! As for myself, I would be starting my training runs soon, along with other friends who would be tagging along my training runs, to tap on my training schedule, helping to train and help out each other in our training quest to different physical exercise goals.
Reading up marathon preparation tips, getting my new running shoes and finalising my training schedule. It’s a 3 month preparation time frame and I am planning, strategising and training harder and smarter for my Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon !
